1.1. Abstracts will be accepted in the following categories: systematic review, scoping review, project, evidence implementation, rapid review, primary research, or experience report.
1.2. Abstracts must strictly follow the formatting rules described below:
1.2.1. Font: Times New Roman, size twelve, single spacing.
1.2.2. Title: concise and informative, without abbreviations, up to twenty words, in bold and uppercase.
1.2.3. Authors: full names, without abbreviations, separated by semicolons, numbered with superscript Arabic numerals corresponding to their institutional affiliation, followed by city and country. The maximum number of authors per paper is ten.
The name of the presenting author must be underlined and include a contact email address.

1.2.4. Abstract structure: a minimum of three hundred and a maximum of four hundred words, presented in a single paragraph and containing the following mandatory components: introduction, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Experience reports must be structured with an introduction, development, and final considerations. Figures and/or tables, references, and abbreviations will not be accepted in the abstract.
1.3. Abstracts submitted without complying with the formatting standards described above will not be reviewed.
1.4. Abstracts may be submitted in Portuguese, English, or Spanish.
1.5. At the end of the abstract, include three to four descriptors (https://decs.bvsalud.org/), separated by semicolons. Example below:

1.6 The title and abstract must not contain any information that allows the identification of authors or institutions.
2.1. Abstracts must be submitted through the registration system available on the event website.
2.2. The final deadline for abstract submission is August 14, 2026, strictly by 11:59 p.m. Brasília time, Brazil.
2.3. Abstracts submitted outside the indicated period or by any means other than the electronic submission system available on the event website will not be accepted.
3.1. Scientific abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee of the II SIIES.
3.2. Members of the Scientific Committee will have access to abstracts without identification of authorship or the authors’ institution of origin, to ensure full impartiality in the review process.
3.3. Selected papers will be presented either as posters or oral presentations, as determined by the Scientific Committee of the II SIIES.
3.4. As of September 1, 2026, the Scientific Committee will make available the list of approved papers and their presentation format. Presentation guidelines will be provided on the website through which the paper was submitted.
3.5. The presenting author of the selected abstract must be registered for the II SIIES by September 10, 2026. If this requirement is not met, the abstract will be automatically excluded from the program.
4.1. Six scientific studies will receive awards: three in the “Best Papers” category — 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places — and three with Honorable Mention.
5.1. Situations not covered by these regulations will be resolved by the Organizing and Scientific Committees of the II SIIES.
5.2. All abstracts presented at the II SIIES will be published in the event proceedings.
